Group 3000 (AlMn) (Topic: 10003)

The 3000-group alloys contain manganese as the major alloying element. The manganese will normally exist as finely dispersed particles in the material giving a slight to moderate increase in strength.

The corrosion properties are excellent and so is the formability. The alloys are often used as drawn tubes and fins in heat exchangers.
