Heat-treatable alloys (Topic: 10005)
Heat-treatable alloys are alloys that can achieve higher strength by heat-treatment. Alloys in this
group contain one or more elements chosen to give higher strength by
precipitation hardening (age hardening).
Heat-treatable alloys include the AlCu (
2000), AlMgSi (6000) and AlZnMg (7000)-groups.
