Special sealing processes (Topic: 14056)

Sealing of the anodic oxide coating in hot water at a temperature slightly below 100ƒC is the most used type, but other "sealing" processes are also much in use special for indoor applications. In Europe cold sealing is used. For outdoor application cold sealing is often used in combination with hot water sealing. Electrophoretic sealing is the main sealing method for many products in Japan.
