In a building there are different requirements to :
- Main bearing structures
- Secondary bearing structures
- Floors
- Walls
- Roofs
- Staircase
- Cladding
- Roofing
For the cladding and the roofing the requirement is usually how combustible
the material is. Aluminium cladding and roofing are in the group of
non-combustible materials.
For the other building elements the authorities require different fire resistance. The fire resistance of passive fire protected aluminium alloy structures is
