ñ The insulation must be fastened to the structure in such a way that it don't fall off. Bimetallic fixing pins (aluminium - stainless steel) can be used together with steel netting if necessary, for mats and plates.

ñ Exposed to fire most of the insulation materials shrink. Insulation must for this reason be laid in two layers with overlap in the joints.
